Hello sweet friends!
It's that time of year to check your calendars and see if you are free for our annual LifeLines Christmas Party! We have several people with conflicts for Sunday night, 14 December, so I have a few alternate dates for us to choose from. I'll pick the date that has the most responses, so be sure to respond about when you can come! If we don't have the party on 14 December, everyone will need to arrange for individual child care.
So, here are the alternate dates:
Friday, December 12
Saturday, December 13
Friday, December 19
Saturday, December 20
I know it's close to Christmas, but I'd love for everyone to be able to come. Let me know as soon as you can!
Love ya'll!

It's Pool Party Time!!!!!!
Hi Sweet Friends!
WOW! It's been a crazy month for the Radfords. Hope things are well with all of you-forgive us for not communicating more, but it's been wild between work, preparing for vacation and teething!
I want to invite you to a pool party/cookout for our Life Line group on Friday, July 11 from 6-9 at my parent's house. (They live a block from the back entrance of the church. The address is 1101 Tiffany Drive.) Please RSVP with the number of your family members who will be attending by Wednesday, July 8. We need a good count so we can have the right amount of food.
Please feel free to bring your kids, their bathing suits and swimming accessories. The only thing that we ask if that if you child cannot swim or doesn't swim well, that you be prepared to get in the pool with them.
We'll be doing burgers and hotdogs. Please let me know what "cookout" food you'd like to bring so we don't have duplicates. We will need the following:
Hot Dogs/Hamburgers - Radfords
Hot Dog/Hamburger buns - LoBos and Webbs
Fixins for Hot Dogs/Hamburgers (Chili, Onions, Pickles, lettuce, Tomatoes, Cheese, etc)
Side Items (Pasta Salads, Baked Beans, Chips, Slaw Etc)
Desserts-Perezes
We are looking forward to it-we've missed you guys! Please let me know if you have any questions!

I Am a ‘Kept’ Woman
You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind, but GOD kept me sane. (Isa. 26:3)
There were times when I thought I could go no longer, but the LORD kept me moving. (Gen 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong, but the LORD kept my mouth shut. (Psa. 13)
Sometimes, I think the money just isn't enough, but GOD has helped me to keep the lights on, the water on, the car paid, the house paid, etc.., (Matt. 6:25 -34)
When I thought I would fall, HE kept me up. When I thought I was weak, HE kept me strong! (I Pet. 5:7, Matt. 11:28-30)
I could go on and on and on, but I'm sure you hear me!
I'm blessed to be 'kept.'Are you...or do you know a 'kept' woman? If so pass it on to her to let her know she is 'Kept'

Hi Friends!
We have Life Lines this Sunday night! We'll resume meeting at Ginger and Tony's house. (As far as I know!) It's been a crazy, busy couple of weeks around the Radford household and at work, so forgive me for not emailing and blogging! Dexter and I are headed to the beach for Thursday night and Friday night-I am looking forward to a little relaxing family time!
Since our last meeting, there's some news about our LifeLines summer schedule. We will observe an altered schedule this summer to allow everyone a time of relaxation-a little down time in all of our packed and hectic schedules. Our last regularly schedule meeting will be this Sunday, May 18. It is the hope of the church staff and the LifeLine leaders that this altered schedule will allow everyone more opportunities to enjoy family time and other summer activities. We will be planning some "events" (which include our kids) so that we won't lose touch over the summer, so please don't worry that our group is going away or anything like that.
Since we won't be seeing each other on a routine basis this summer, I have some ideas about how we can get together. I've asked my parents about hosting a bbq/pool party in their backyard. I need to firm the date up with my mom, but I am thinking that we can do this during the first of June.
In July, I think it would be fun to have a homemade ice cream party at someone's house. Anyone interested in hosting us?
We'll start meeting again at the end of August, but maybe we can fit one more fun little thing in at the beginning. Any suggestions?
On Sunday night, I think we will just chat and fellowship, and perhaps play the question game again for those who missed it the first time. (Send me your questions!) As for food, let's just do potluck and everyone bring some kind of food stuff. What do you think about that?
I'm excited about having some extra time this summer, but I am going to miss seeing you all on a regular basis outside of just seeing you at church. We have to make a commitment to each other to not get lost in the shuffle during our break. Let's make a concerted effort to see each other, talk to each other, love each other and fellowship, okay?
We love you guys! Let me know your thoughts on this!

Sunday Night
hi friends!
we've missed going to LifeLines! I just wanted to remind you that in May, we will have LifeLines on the 1st and 3rd Sunday nights. So that means that we'll be meeting this week! WOOHOOO!!!
I haven't broken out the food groups yet because I can't figure out the best way to do it. I really need some help with the food group thing- I need some of you to coordinate the menus and contact folks about what to bring. Is anyone interested in doing that? If you are, please let me know. It's not hard, I promise!
So, I was thinking that this week everyone could just contribute for the dinner and we'll try to hash out the food groups this week. Here's the menu, please let me know what you'd like to bring;
Sub Night
Turkey
Ham
Roast Beef
Cheese
Sub Rolls
Lettuce, Tomatos, Onions, Pickles
Chips
Dessert
i'm looking forward to seeing you this week. Be checking your email for some "pre reading' for our Bible study/chat. Love you guys!

Rally the Troops!
Dear Friends,
I know you've all seen Jeannette's entry about knee surgery. I think it's fitting and appropriate for us to all pitch in and help Dan a little while she's out of commission. I mean, we are doing life together, right? So, if anyone would like to provide a meal for Dan and Jeanette over the course of the next week, please let me know and I will coordinate with them about who is coming when. Be blessed!
We love you!
Dexter and Amy
PS-I'll take Thursday night!
