It's Friday!

I love Friday! It's my favorite day of the week. It signifies the beginning of a few days to spend with Dexter and Morgan, usually doing things we want to do, not what we have to do. (Well, there are clothes to be washed and a house to be cleaned, but we'll get to that!)

Like today for example, I got up extra early (at 5:05!) so I could get to work earlier than normal so that I can leave a little earlier cause I want to go the 29% off sale at Wit's End in Wendell and still get home by 12, like normal!

I am really glad it's Friday because it puts the week to rest for me. It's been a week of disappointment for me because something I really wanted to happen didn't happen and I've been contemplating my response all week long. I'm a little aggrivated by it and when I think on it too much, I get angry about it. So I've decided that I need to get over it. I guess it's okay to be a little disappointed, but being angry is really not good. It's time to let it go and just go on. There are more important battles to fight in the world. Before I get off this point, I would just like to let you know that I am a radical injustice fighter. I believe in the underdog. I believe that the world can be a just place if we chose it to be; however, making the world a just and fair place is hard and you can't always give everyone what they want. Sometimes difficult and unpopular decisions have to be made. Sometimes these decisions are hard to accept. That's where I've been living this week. So, it's time to move on....

This is a completely random post, so please know that I am not normally this random. Or, well, maybe I am. Who knows?

I read a wonderful blog by Beth Moore this week about living a purposeful life for Christ. I wanted to share it all with you. Click on here to read "Just Dreaming?" I wanted to share it with you as I feel it really corresponds to what we talked about knowing Christ.

The Girlfriends! event on Tuesday night was so much fun-I enjoyed being able to sit with all my LifeLine girls and we missed those of you who weren't able to make it. It was a wonderful time and I hope that we can all attend the next event!

I got a great note in the mail this week from our fearless LifeLine Community Leaders, Anthony and Teresa Pope. We have CHILD CARE for Life Lines on 13 April 2008. Put it on your calendars and be there with us to share the JOY! WOOHOOO!

I love you all and hope you have a really marvelous weekend. We'll see you on Sunday at church!

Amy
